Ingredients required for making Kalakand Sweet


Paneer : 500 gm.
Milk powder : 2 tbsp.
milk : 4 cups+4 cups
Cardamom powder : 2-3 tsp.
Ghee/butter : 2 tblsp.
Sugar : 1 cup
Food Color(Orange) : 1/2 tsp.(optional)


Method


we can buy the paneer from shop or we can make it in home itself


how to make paneer 


1.Mix lemon juice in ¼ cup of hot water and put aside.


2.Now boil 4 cups of milk in pan over medium flame ,stirr it occasionally ,milk should not over boil as it makes burning smell .


3.after boiling add lemon water gradually and stir the milk gently,the milks breaks to form like curd , Now turn of the flame


4.Put mixture in the white cloth or muslin cloth wrap it .rinse it under cold water and queeze well.This process takes sourness from the lemon.

5.Take out the excess water from mixture the left out mixture is called as paneer


Kalakand preparation

1. Now Mash paneer coarsely. Add dairy powdered to it and mix well and again mash the combination for a while, until the structure is not only soft, but type of grainy.


2.Warm a extensive pan, add ghee to it, When ghee is completely melted, add paneer combination to the pan. Mix for a moment.

3. Boil remaining 4 cup of the milk in a heavy bottom pan on medium high temperature until the milk reduces to about two cups.


4. Then add 2 cups of above milk and mix with paneer well. Keep in mind to mix the combination all the time, otherwise it’ll stick to the pan & lower the flame . 


5. we can add food colour to the kalakand as our choice ,


6. Prepare the combination, mixing consistently for about 5 minutes,Add the sugar according to our sweetness and continue to cook and stirring until the mixture become soft lump and start leaving the pan from sides.
Cook the mixture until it dries up


7.Remove from as stove and add cardamom pwdr to it and mix well


8.Oil a dish with remaining ghee and add the prepared paneer combination on the greased dish and distribute equally.


9.cool it and server by cutting it into desired shapes
